A pedestrian bridge had been sagging for years. The original tie rod mounting brackets corroded completely through — structural failure at critical connection points. EWOK Projects designed and fabricated an entirely new tie rod system, replaced failed timber with I-beam sections, straightened bent railway track components, and jacked the bridge back to its original position.
Brackets corroded through. Timber failed. Structure sagging 25–35mm below original level.
Full scaffold over the river. Every connection point inspected and documented before work began.
Timber replaced with I-beam. New brackets fabricated in workshop. Bent track sections straightened.
Tie rods tensioned. Bridge jacked 25–35mm back to original position. Plumb, level, to spec.
Real projects. Real sites. Real craftsmanship.
